What they need to be able to see from the documents is what you are importing and how much you paid for it. For seafreight consignments we would normally need an original Bill of Lading. Export Documents Export documents tend to be much more confusing and complicated, there are often letters of credit to be accepted and then complied with, export permits for many items, and special import documentation requirements at the destination.
